As of October 27th, El Salvador has purchased a total of 1,100 Bitcoin. This followed the country making Bitcoin a legal tender alongside the dollar starting September 7th.
According to data, dollar bonds from El Salvador are among the worst-performing in emerging markets this month, making cryptocurrency an ideal solution.
