We would like to inform you about the upcoming Gala Games ecosystem change, which includes the migration of the GALA v1 token to the new GALA v2 token. Netcoins will be supporting the GALA v2 migration, and will be enabling the upgrade to GALA v2 automatically for all our GALA token holders. What is the GALA Upgrade? The upgrade to the Gala Games (ERC-20, or Ethereum) smart contract will introduce several improvements, including enhanced burn mechanisms, security enhancements, and future upgradeability. As a result of the upgrade, the old v1 tokens will not have any token utility and hence will not be supported. Here’s what it means for you: On the 15th of May 2023, we will be temporarily disabling deposits, trading and withdrawals for GALA v1 tokens. We will enable deposits, trading and withdrawals again as soon as we consider the network to be stable. Gala tokens held in your Netcoins account will automatically convert to the new GALA v2 token at a 1:1 ratio. There is no action needed from your side ; the conversion will happen automatically. After the upgrade, we will no longer be supporting GALA v1 tokens. This includes deposits, trading and withdrawals.
